The end

This part “song” part poem, was something that was written during the height of my teenage angst. When I read this after over a decade… It definitely brought back waves of cringe, as well as this melancholic nostalgia. Since I have this platform, I decided to share it. So please enjoy the cringe-worthy romantic escapades of a pre-teen/ teenage Hasumi.

The sun is slowly sinking

sinking down to the hirizon

This is where the meeting

of two hearts- a collision.

The moment is almost gone

it is too good to last.

The flame has just been born

and has died with a splash.

The face you saw

was a mere memory

and you just want to know

the meaning of this melody.

Is the end near

There is no time to fear

for this moment

You want it to last

but not so fast

Its not what you wanted…

IS it already the end?
